Update...

It's Thursday and I'm packing up to head out early tomorrow morning.

Yesterday I headed to Ft.Worth and the Stockyards. I meet a girl there, her name is Blue Bonnet and well we found little Pearl along the way.

My girls found two new buddies that tagged along with us to Ft.Worth!

Pictures tomorrow!

Sunday @ the Zoo

Zoo with Tinsley Lou and family!!!

My adventures from Friday and saturday

Well I've been off for a little bit as I've had a lot of time to relax.

Friday was spent driving back to Houston where we visited a scrapbook store and then the Houston Space Center.

The scrapbook store- By Design Scrapbook

I loved hanging out on all their furniture while the girls shopped.

Hanging with the Star Wars gang at the Space Center!

Saturday was spent partying with Tinsley Lou. Lots and lots of alcohol so quite blurry for me.
Decided on a little Tiki Time.

Then I went floating in Tequilla!

And a whole lot of boom!

Well we ended up at Gaidos for the evening and this morning we woke up and headed over to IHOP! Before heading to IHOP we drove around town and saw some of the major damage caused by Hurricane Ike back in September of 2008. It's very sad to see.

We ran into Allan walking down the road with his surf board and I soooo wanted to get some lessons in the Gulf.

IHOP Breakfast

Then we headed out over to Moody Gardens where our first trip was to the aquarium, here's a shot of me with a ray! I liked them and this lil ray seemed to be pretty interested in me..

Here's me visiting with this lovely skeleton in the Discovery Dome at Moody Gardens.

We then decided to take a ride on a paddle wheel boat. The girls here Cici in White and Janeth in Red helped my gal pals with all their drinking needs! Great girls!

We met Noah (4) and his little brother Jonah (2months old) along with his mom and dad Hugo while riding on the paddle wheel boat. Aren't they sweet?

We also meet Lillian on the paddle wheel boat and will never forget the expression Stranger Danger when looking at stairs. What a sweetie.

We then headed to the visitor center to take in the Imax show about sharks, upon our arrival we meet Brandon (5) who wanted to be a froggie!

Again I almost got eatten by Roxxie (Moody Garden's Dino)

We then headed over into the Rainforest Pyramid.

Here I meet Monty the Python. Wondered if he to wanted to kill me? What's with things killing me???

Then headed to the Garden Restaurant to the Buffet.

Sonja was a great pal visiting us..

The gals left me in the car and headed over to Palm Beach, a cute little waterpark. Again what's with not letting me in the water? I'm a duck for goodness sake... I will swim somewhere in Texas yet...

This evening was spent hitting the trail for a restaurant for Heather and myself to eat. It was well interesting......I swam in the Shrimp Etoufee at Miller's. My pal Heather was not impressed with the shrimp shell she had to crunch on but overall enjoyed a new taste!

We ended up again at the Float and the girls drank and played Beer Pong and swam in the pool there..

Upon Death.

I've been wondering what will happen next to me as I've had some near death experiences on these travels..

Swords
Zebras
Ostriches
Guns

oh dear, hoping it gets better.

Why does everyone want to kill lil ole' me. For goodness sack I'm just a duck!

Houston we have a problem..

After a restful night sleep in a beautiful historic hotel St. Anthony I (Chappy) and my gal pals headed out. Ya umm it was well interesting. A wrong turn and a two hr. trip out of our way began the day..

Then half way to Houston a flashing oil change sign came on. HOUSTON we have a problem.. Alamo, well they weren't to helpful and we sat in the 102 degree heat in the car that was getting to the degree for two plus hours waiting for a replacement car. A mazda 6 came a while later. We headed out into rush hour traffic and had to skip the space center and scrapbook stores..

We arrived in Galveston shortly before dinner time, checked into our hotel at the Beachcomber Inn. Don't let the name fool you though, a crappy little place before the beach. No stars on the duck scale.. Argh for service.. Anyone into the boorah site for ratings, Mr. Chappy will be visiting it soon for many locals in Galveston.

So we headed out to the drip and the spot. A combo place that we still don't get. Honestly though we don't get the name- the spot---it's like WTF as we had no service for almost 15minutes. We finally decided drinks and move on. Glad we moved on though as we found The Float. A restaurant, bar, and pool all in one. I highly recommend the burritos! Heather let me have a few bites and I also tasted her drink, a crabby something or other. There were a ton of boys running around the restaurant and my pal Frankie purchased each one a smoothie and then an order of nachos for them! Such an awesome cowgirl she is..

We then walked on the beach for a bit and I went and was good luck for a fisherman who caught a speckled sea trout! Quack Quack, I'm thinking this luck thing might be my calling.

Then I decided to ride the waves of the Gulf of Mexico..

I also took a ride on a wave runner with Jason. I was highly impressed with this cool surfer dude.

We walked further down the beach and I visited a damaged hotel from last year's Hurricane Ike. It looked like a beautiful hotel in its time, sitting right over the gulf of mexico. Upon returning from the hotel I took a ride on a skim board with Marcus. Very cool!

I also meet up with the gals who were oh so cute.. Tamori (2) and Emani (5) said it was stinky out on the beach.

And I meet up with 3 great dogs (Pharoe, Molly, Kuma, and owners Leesa and Chance) who thought I was dinner. Luckily Frankie saved me.

We stopped next at Captain Jacks. A Bud Light and an ice tea were had and pictures were taken.

Cheff Reggie was such an awesome guy!

My partner in crime has fallen asleep and I will be going back to my duck bed as soon as my wings can finish typing and adding pictures..

Tomorrow's Adventures shall include a trip to an aquarium, a beach, a scrapbook store (possibly), and the space center in Houston. Not sure if the gals will be staying in Houston or moving back over to Gruene. Apparently they are interested in another float down the Comal River. I didn't make the last trip and since I'm a duck I do love to float, hoping to sneak in with them--hmm wondering if I can jump and/or fly into the cooler of beer. Crossing your wings, oh sorry I mean fingers..

Singing off,
Chappy the Traveling Duck.
